Pelorus Kids’ Club
Travelling on the Cook Strait ferries is more fun for the youngsters when they join our new Pelorus Kids' Club for children aged 12 years and under.
Membership is free, and when children join up they get a membership card, a story letter from club characters and $5 Pelorus Money, which can be spent onboard.
Club characters – Ara the ferry and Daphne the dolphin will send out birthday and Christmas cards. Members will also receive letters twice a year from characters.
Make sure you have your membership card handy to get other neat stuff like:
- A free drink and Jaffas when you purchase a movie ticket and swipe your card.
- $1Pelorus Dollar for each $10 spent onboard when your card is scanned. (This will accumulate and Pelorus money will be sent to you on your birthday each year, or on request.)
- Arrangements can be made with an onboard supervisor to visit the Captain on the bridge, (subject to conditions and availability)
The ships will also sell Pelorus Kids' Club products in the onboard shops, including: backpacks, pencil cases, stationery kits, stickers, and more. Something for everyone!
